Saint Rémy de Provence, Les Baux and Camargue.

Full day tour from Arles or Avignon

Our itinerary

Saint Rémy de Provence.

Saint Paul de Mausole monastery, which became an asylum in the 19th century. Van Gogh took refuge here in 1889/1890.

Les Baux de Provence

The road up to Les Baux from the southeast passes trough olive groves and vineyards.

There are incredible rock formations in this part of the Alpilles, with the road seemingly cut through thre solid rock with single strokes of some giant’s knife. The village area is a stone and cobblestone medieval village.

The Camargue Regional Park

Located on the Mediterranean, in the Rhone delta, mainly between two branches of the river. It stretches over 3 communes: a part of the town of Arles and Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhone and the whole community of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

Like the other 46 regional nature parks in France, the Camargue Regional Park is both:

a rural, open and inhabited, delicately balanced, recognized for its exceptional quality, where nature conservation and human development must be matched;

The path of Vaccarès, a walk (free) to observe and understand the Camargue.
On a path of about 1,5 mile approaching as close as horses, bulls, raccoons, flamingos, egrets and herons …or catch the little train of Méjanes you will discover the landscape of the Camargue.

Look at the beauty of the wilderness: bulls and horses, ducks, herons, sparrows, buzzards, flamingos.
