Surrounded by 22 hectares of vines and a very pleasant tree-shaded park, the main building has a breathtaking view of Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail and the surrounding villages.

In a warm and friendly area they will be happy to share an enjoyable moment.

Next stage is Gigondas.
We wil pass by Le Barroux, La Roque Alric, Lafare, Beaumes de Venise. This road is the most beautiful scenic road with vineyards in Provence.

Free time in the Village of Gigondas for your lunch.

Wine tasting at Domaine des Goubert in Gigondas.

Their philosophy : A great wine is first a great terroir, with an excellent soil, a good exposure, good vine varieties, happy vine plants growing quietly. Then, it is also an ounce of "savoir-faire" (know-how), the love of your work and a no-limit respect for your land. Wonderful promise.
Their "classic" Gigondas is generous, a mix of ripe fruits, spices and tobacco.

Vacqueyras is our next and last winetasting.

In the village, Philippe, the manager of Chateau de Montmirail welcome us, he is the owner of this wonderful wine estate. We will discover their Vacqueyras and Gigondas. Unforgettable.

The three main varieties of the area are Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre.

- Grenache brings fruit and power.
- The Syrah grape, structure and liquorice.
- The Mourvèdre for its spiciness.

Low yields on clay-limestone soils give their wines strength.
