Mont Ventoux, Gigondas and Chateauneuf du Pape

Private full day tour from Avignon and Vaucluse area

From June 15th to September 15th.
9.00 AM to 6.00 PM

Come and take pictures at the top of the Mont Ventoux,
height of 1912 meters (6000 feet), it’s fantastic…

Mont Ventoux is a mountain in the Provence region of southern France, located some 35 km north-east of Avignon. It is by far the biggest mountain in the region and has been dubbed the Giant of Provence.

Back to the Dentelles de Montmirail at the village of Suzette in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail (eastern side).

Then, I will take you to Gigondas, famous for their Grand Cru

The soil is stony in certain places and sandy-clayey in others.
The privileged aspect and diversity of the land assures explicit wines of character.

The traditional bands of vines on the slopes hold grape varieties of mostly GrenacheSyrah and Mourvèdre.

Free time in the quaint village of Gigondas for your lunch.

After, let me take you to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a medieval village on the side of a hill, guarded by the ruins of an ancient chateau towering above.

From the chateau hill you have an outstanding view in all directions, mostly of vineyards, of course.

Visit of the cellar and wine tasting in Domaine de Beaurenard

Domaine de Beaurenard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape has been a family-run estate for seven generations.

A notarial act dated 16 December 1695 mentions “Bois Renard”, which over time has become “Beaurenard”.

Tour prices are per vehicle for full day from Avignon. Winetasting included.
